The Wisconsin Rugby Football Union seeks U19 (under 19 year-olds) & U17 (under 17 year-olds) select level players to represent Wisconsin Union in the Rocky Mountain U-20 & U-18 Challenges in Denver, CO. The Wisconsin Select Side has a proven track record of success on the pitch and as a path to the US U19 & U17 National Teams. This tournament is the premier event in the US and is attended by coaches and selectors from the National Teams. This effort is designed to incent talented young ruggers to reach for a higher level, give them exposure to select side play and ultimately improve the skill level that those players bring back to their high school, college and club teams. The Team WI season culminates with the Rocky Mountain Rugby Challenge. This is the premier U17 and U19 rugby tournament in the United States and a primary selection vehicle for the National Coaches and Selectors. The campaign starts with two try-out camps in early May where the teams will be selected. The teams will meet for two camps in May where their skill sets will be refined and the team game plan established.
